The burning of natural gas has caused several environmental issues such as air pollution and the effects on land use and wildlife. The author mentioned the burning of natural gas has produced nitrogen oxides which are harmful pollutants. The pollutants have caused health issues such as “asthma, bronchitis, lung cancer, and heart disease” to many of the people in America.
